GreenΔrasis: A new spin-off company at NTUA

GreenΔrasis

The NTUA Administrative Board, at its meeting on 29/11/2024, approved the establishment of the spin-off company from NTUA “GreenΔrasis”. GreenΔrasis was founded by Professor of the NTUA School of Chemical Engineering Anastasia Detsi and Dr. Andromachi Tzani  with the aim of exploiting, developing and promoting innovative green technologies and products that have resulted from the research activity carried out at the Laboratory of Organic Chemistry of the NTUA School of Chemical Engineering.

GreenΔrasis aims to promote the technology of task specific green solvents and green processes to address challenges and needs in industrial sectors such as, but not limited to, cosmetics, food and pharmaceuticals.

The scope of the GreenDrasis spin-off is to:

  • Provide services for the research and development of innovative methodologies based on the principles of Green Chemistry and Engineering,
  • Improve and/or redesign existing processes to enable the chemical industry to achieve its goals for sustainable development,
  • Develop innovative high added value products (such as plant extracts, cosmetics and medical devices, active packaging, nanotechnology products, etc.)
  • Promote the smart valorisation and upcycling of industrial and agri-food by-products

With a focus on green solvents, GreenΔrasis is a pioneer in sustainable development, offering innovative products and solutions for a sustainable future.
