DATOPTRON Private Capital Company is a spin-off company of NTUA founded by the senior researchers of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering Vassilis TzouvarasEirini Kaldeli and Alexandros Chortaras, following the approval of the Senate of NTUA on the 10th of December 2021.

Datoptron brings from the lab to the market cutting-edge technological innovations for the organisation, analysis, enrichment, and creative use of data. 
Datoptron comes from the combination of words “data” and “catoptron”, the Greek word for a reflecting optical instrument. Data through the looking glass or data as a looking glass, that is.
