Lightcoce

LightCoce was founded in 2021 and is the first spin-off company with the participation of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA).

LightCoce is a one-stop-shop that provides services for the development of new ideas in the fields of lightweight concrete, as well as conventional and advanced ceramics. LightCoce’s services cover the entire value chain, from upgrading a new product, material or technology to its commercial exploitation.

The NTUA laboratories that participate in LightCoce are the Metallurgy Laboratory of the School of Mining and Metallurgical Engineering, the Reinforced Concrete Laboratory of the School of Civil Engineering, and the Laboratory of Advanced Materials, Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology of the School of Chemical Engineering.
